Coin Counting Redemption Center
UNICORP offers its members the FREE use of self-service high speed coin counting machines. Bring all your old coins, run them through the counter and you automatically receive a printed receipt. Just bring the receipt to any teller for cash redemption or to deposit into your UNICORP account.Non-members may use the service for a fee of 8% of the total count of the coins put through the counter.
Safe Deposit Boxes
UNICORP now offers safe deposit boxes to protect your valuables and personal papers at our St. John branch. The boxes come in three (3) convenient sizes:- 5" x 5"
- 5" x 10"
- 7" x 10"
Money Orders
We sell money orders with the maximum face value of $500. The cost to you is the value, plus a $1.00 fee.Travelers Cheques
UNICORP Federal Credit Union offers a full line of American Express Travelers Cheques which are safer than carrying cash.Recognized around the world and refundable if lost or stolen by calling American Express toll-free.
We offer traditional "single signature" Travelers Cheques and convenient Travelers Cheques for two which allows either person to sign.
American Express Travelers Cheques are available in $20, $50 and $100 denominations.
Cashiers Checks
UNICORP cashier checks can be issued in any amount for a cost of only $2.00. Perfect for those larger transactions over $500.A cashier check is an instrument that guarantees the payee that the funds are available when cashed.

A fast and convenient way to move money from one institution to another without any risk.Wire Transfers To UNICORP
If you are interested in moving money from another institution to UNICORP, the following information is needed to complete the transaction.- Institution's name and address
- Institution's routing and transit number
- Your account number there
- The amount you want transferred
UNICORP does not charge any fee for incoming wire transfers, but the other institution may charge you for this service.
Wire Transfers From UNICORP
If you would like to wire transfer money from UNICORP to another institution, please call our office at 219-659-5800 for wiring instructions.The cost is $15.00 for regular wires and $35.00 for international wires.
Direct Deposit
Don't cut your lunch hour short or waste time waiting in line to deposit or cash your paycheck. Use Direct Deposit service from UNICORP.Plus, you can use Direct Deposit for social security, pensions, annuities, dividends, expense reimbursement and any other regular payment you receive by check.
It's fast. Your money will be in your account on payday or disbursement day whether you're sick, on vacation, or just too busy to stop in.
It's safe. Your paycheck, government check or any other check can't be lost or stolen. You don't have to wait for the Post Office to deliver your check...it's automatically deposited in your account.
It's reliable. You still get a pay stub to show that your account has been credited. And, all other Direct Deposit checks are shown on your monthly statement, plus you can use UNICORP's CU ONLINE internet banking service to verify each deposit.
To sign up for Direct Deposit, contact the benefits, human resources or shareholder departments of the companies that send you regular payments.
Payroll Deduction Program
If you want a sure way to make a savings deposit every payday...sign up for UNICORP's Payroll Deduction program.This is a convenient way of having a predetermined amount of money automatically deducted from your paycheck. You can choose how often you want the automatic deductions to occur.

ATM Cards - UNICORP, Alliance One, NYCE, and Cirrus Systems
If you need cash fast, you should have an ATM card.UNICORP's ATM cards can be used at any UNICORP, Alliance One, NYCE, or Cirrus ATM location nationwide.
With an ATM card, you can:- Transfer funds
- Withdraw cash (up to a predetermined daily limit)
- Make inquiries about your account
UNICORP allows your first 4 monthly transactions free. Additional transactions are $1.25 each. There is NO ANNUAL FEE for a UNICORP ATM card.
Some ATM machines not affiliated with UNICORP charge a per use fee.
